wheel fluid low, trouble turning car

im having trouble turning my car autozone said they had compatible fluid to put in but im not suree i should trust them on it or not any suggestions? its a 2000 a42.8 with a pesg2 supercharger with stock exhaust

I presume you are talking about the power steering fluid? If so, the manufactures recommendation calls for mineral fluid, specifically this. I have used regular domestic stuff and haven't had any problems but it's your call. I say use the mineral oil if you can get it but if you get in a situation like I did and couldn't find any mineral oil and could only get regular stuff, then so be it.

i have another car to drive ( huge volvo) until monday and i can get the shops correct streering fluid better to wait than not and be sorry i assume.

regular works just fine and is hella cheaper.
