I have been using ngk 7e 4644 for about 5 yrs now. Just curious to what people are using for spark plug gaps. I am using about 23ths. I run the 2.9 " pulley on meth. i talked about the 9psi with PES. They say the blower puts out to much heat at 9 psi and thats why its at 6-7 psi. I talked about meth inject? they said it could work and on a wideband it will increase a/f ratio alot.

I use ngk7es also, they don't last very long (I change them yearly) but they seem to give me the best performance with my 2.8" pulley and W/M injection.

PES is correct about the heat (or you can call it pressure, since the two are closely related), the stock 2.8 pistons cannot take more then 10 psi of boost without getting close to damage/melting point. Truthfully, I don't know how much W/M injection would help on a stock engine, in my experience, reading the EGT gauge, the actual burn (exhaust) temps are not much lower with W/M, what does change is how quickly the temps drop once off the throttle. As far as the W/M making the mixture richer, I suppose there is some enrichment going on, but having driven both with and without injection enabled I can't see much of a difference on my wideband. It might be less then 1 point (12.x:1 with injection and 13.x:1 without).

I was told a mix of 50/50 water alcohol will raise octane to 109-113. I didn't get a name but at Pes but he said it's about a point rich, let's say 12.5 a/f pes tune and 11.5 a/fmeth and pes tune. I know when I had a wide band it used to run lean at 6 psi.
But what gaps are people running, I change them plugs every six months. I have 3 turbo civics that I use the same plugs and gap them to . 20 thousandths. Just curious

Yup, that's about right, I use windshield washer fluid which is 33% meth and 66% water, so my octane increase is somewhat less, but it's enough so that I don't have to run 100 octane fuel on the track. One point difference is not enough to require a separate tune imo.
